North Pole Ptarmigans meet the fourth Saturday of each month, from 2-5 p.m., at the UAF University Park Building, 1000 University Ave., in Room 150. During the summer, meeting times and locations are more varied to accommodate project tours and special learning opportunities. (Meeting schedule subject to change; please contact a leader to learn more.)

*Typical club projects include: Animals; beef; birds & poultry; dairy cattle; goats (dairy, hair, meat); rabbits/cavies; sheep; swine; community/volunteer service; leadership & personal development; and introductory 4-H projects for Cloverbuds (ages 5-7). *We are open to helping 4-Hers find support in other projects they have interest in.

This option is available to anyone who would like to participate in 4-H independent from a traditional 4-H club structure. Independent members work with a mentor who can be a parent/guardian or a grandparent. The 4-H projects are individual to that member.
