Meetings
Toolik Field Station supports, facilitates, and attends a variety of meetings each year in order to have active discussion between the science community, infrastructure support, and the field station staff.
All-Scientist Meetings - Every other year Toolik hosts an All-Scientist Meeting to share scientific discoveries and to brain-storm how to improve the station and the community.
Town Hall Meetings - Typically once during the pre-season Toolik hosts a townhall meeting to update the community on any operational changes for the comming field season.
User Forum - Three times a summer (June, July, August) Toolik hosts User Forum meetings at the field station with the community onsite to learn from the community what can use some improvements as well as what we are doing great at. No, we will not be getting a pool table or fruity pebbles.
Talking Shops - Once a week during the summer season (June-August) Toolik hosts a seminar series with speakers from the community presenting their work.
Professional Meetings - Staff members from Toolik Field Station attend a range of professional meetings annually to promote the station, plan logistics, and to work with field station peers.
