An Anchorage workshop will teach participants how to prune trees and brush to reshape them and to repair the pruning done by moose, such as this one snacking in an Anchorage yard.
Pruning is an important skill for anyone living in a yard with woody plants such as ornamental trees and shrubs. An in-person workshop will teach participants how to enhance a plant’s shape, reduce branch breakage and repair pruning done by moose.
The workshop is from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, at the Anchorage Museum Seed Lab, 111 W. 6th Ave., Anchorage. It is a collaboration between the Anchorage Museum and the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Cooperative Extension Service.
This class instructor will discuss and demonstrate when, where and how to make cuts without unduly stressing the pruner or the plant.
The workshop is free, but registration is required. Register using the or visit .
