Webinar to offer tips, advice for putting your garden to bed

Winter is approaching fast, and it’s time for gardeners to start putting their gardens to bed. Join the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Cooperative Extension Service in a free statewide webinar for some helpful tips for the end of the growing season and to get ready for the next one.
Katie Redmond, part of the horticulture crew at the Alaska Botanical Garden in Anchorage, will discuss what to keep, what to cut and tips for dividing and transplanting perennials. She will also cover how to store dahlias, what to plant in the fall and other helpful tips to ensure the best chances of success for your perennial and vegetable beds.
A plant-lover since childhood and a professional gardener since 2011, Redmond previously worked in the perennial gardening industry, designing and installing large-scale and private gardens in Crested Butte, Colorado. She has a passion for sustainable gardening practices, native flora and herbalism.
