Virtual talk explores ways to identify, attract backyard pollinators

An Anchorage entomologist will delve into how to recognize common bees and other Alaska pollinators in a free virtual talk with the Valley Garden Club.
Alex Wenninger is a ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø integrated pest management technician with the Cooperative Extension Service. She will cover ways to attract pollinators and how to be a good pollinator steward in your own garden by planting for pollinators and managing invasive plants. She will also discuss the nesting habits of native bees.
