Try something new for 2026 with Nanook Recreation

Nanook Recreation is offering a variety of fitness classes for the spring semester, including some familiar programs such as Intro to Strength Training, Intermediate Strength Training, Intro to Olympic Weightlifting, Mat Pilates, Lunchtime Boot Camp, and Indoor Cycling. Classes are being added throughout the spring, so keep checking the group fitness calendar.
Program registration is open now for the popular Intro to Strength Training programs; space is limited. Intro to Strength Training is a progressive 6-week group fitness class. Students will learn the basic concepts and safety considerations when resistance training. Individual needs will be considered when teaching new exercises, and modifications can be made for a variety of skill levels. .
