The UA Museum of the North invites the community to celebrate Museum Store Sunday on Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This global event highlights the important role museum stores play in supporting local artists and cultural institutions.

The UAMN museum store features work from a number of talented Alaska artists, including Trickster, Joshua Menadelook Carvings, Sew Yup’ik, Shirley Hootch Jewelry, Urban Atsaq Art, Brianna Reagan, Sarah Beaty Ceramics, Jill Richie Art and many more. Purchasing their work not only supports local makers but also directly contributes to the museum’s exhibitions, education programs and research initiatives.

Did you know? The museum store offers UAF staff and students 10% off all year as a thank-you to our university community.

Museum Store Sunday is a wonderful opportunity to shop local and shop with purpose. Join the museum in celebrating artists from across Alaska! Discover unique, locally-made gifts, jewelry and art that capture the beauty and creativity of Alaska.
