Circumpolar Music Series opens fifth season in October

The fifth season of the Circumpolar Music Series opens with two performances in October at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
The UAF Department of Music initiative offers performances, lectures and workshops led by northern musicians and scholars.
On Oct. 3, Wild Shore New Music takes the stage in a three-part multimedia event featuring songwriter Quinn Christopherson, filmmaker Michael Walsh and composer Matt Evans.
On Oct. 10, harper Beth Kollé returns to campus, joining violinist and Hardanger fiddler Rachel Nesvig to perform a unique blend of traditional Scandinavian folk music and lyrical melodies.
Both concerts are open to the public and begin at 7 p.m. in the Davis Concert Hall on the UAF Troth Yeddha’ ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. Tickets are available .
