See Nanook Nation for Yourself

The best way to really know what UAF is like is to visit campus for yourself. This is an opportunity for you and your family to meet one-on-one with UAF admissions and financial aid experts, as well as major advisors and current students. See the place you’ll call home as a UAF student.

Take a Tour of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø

Choose between two types of campus tours — the Blue Tour and the Gold Tour — depending on what you're looking to learn more about during your UAF visit. Or hey, why not take both!

Blue Tour

Take a Blue Tour to experience a day in the life of a student on UAF's campus!

The Blue Tour is a guided walking tour of UAF's Troth Yeddha' ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø led by the Office of Admissions. Engage in casual conversation with current students, stop by a UAF residence hall, visit popular campus spots like the Student Rec Center and start to picture your life as a Nanook. Whether you're a visitor seeing campus for the first time or a local looking to learn more about the campus community, the Blue Tour is the perfect introduction to life at UAF.

Blue Tours are available every day of the week.

Gold Tour

Take a Gold Tour to learn more about your area of study at UAF!

The Gold tour is your chance to visit with specific academic departments at UAF. Join this hands-on experience to get a glimpse of your chosen major's facilities, classrooms and professors. Considering majoring in either Marine Sciences or Wildlife Biology and Conservation? You'll want to join the Life Sciences Gold Tour.
