Webinar on system integration for microgrids
The inaugural webinar on Aug. 20 will feature a presentation by experts from the National Laboratory of the Rockies titled, “System integration for microgrids: Planning to add new generation and storage assets.â€
Attendees will learn about how to plan and sequence the addition of new generation and storage assets in a microgrid. They will see how system constraints shape integration decisions, what technical prerequisites must be in place and how to align project goals with requirements for stable, safe and reliable operation. Attendees will gain a clearer sense of what to add, when to add it and how to avoid common microgrid integration pitfalls.
The six-part C-MAP webinar series offers practical guidance on several stages of microgrid planning and performance, providing communities with the tools to advance microgrid projects that strengthen local energy systems and support future growth.
ACEP is a partner in C-MAP, a U.S. Department of Energy Office of Electricity program. The series is managed by the National Laboratory of the Rockies.
