Funding opportunity for microgrid project technical assistance

The , or C-MAP, is awarding time-limited technical and non-technical assistance to help communities and organizations with their microgrid energy systems.
ACEP is a partner in C-MAP, a U.S. Department of Energy Office of Electricity program that is facilitated by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
Assistance includes data collection, analysis, planning, decision support and training. This support is intended for stakeholders and rightsholders who have decision-making power and/or influence in their community and are seeking energy expertise to inform upcoming microgrid plans, policies or projects.
Three levels of support are available:
- Expert Access (available to all applicants): Up to an hour of consultation to answer microgrid questions, troubleshoot tools, or access resources.
- Opportunity Matching (for-profit corporations and individuals are not eligible): Up to 5 hours to explore C-MAP and other programs, identify opportunities, and connect with resources.
- Tailored Support (for-profit corporations and individuals are not eligible): Up to 60 hours of detailed assistance on microgrid-specific questions. Topics could include project planning, energy system integration, modeling and analysis, or policy and regulatory topics.
Successful applicants are matched with appropriate providers, which may include national laboratories, ACEP, the or consulting firms.

C-MAP brings together communities, Tribes, industry and other organizations working to advance microgrids, creating a forum for innovation. C-MAP extends funding and technical support for microgrid design, development, repair and revitalization to improve energy access, cost and reliability.
