Featured guests, ranging from utility managers and energy developers to ACEP researchers, interns and community advocates, bring to the show their broad perspectives on energy issues. They share their knowledge about and experience in cities and rural communities in Alaska as well as other parts of the world such as Puerto Rico, Iceland and Australia.

She noted that showcasing the innovative and creative ways that communities are generating and using energy resonates with everyone.

Amanda Byrd interviews ACEP researcher Erlingur Gudleifsson in Utqiagvik, Alaska, for an Energy in the North episode.
“Everybody uses energy every single day, and understanding where that energy comes from, how the project was developed and what it might offer the community’s residents is truly a human story,” she said.
The series airs weekly on or on Wednesdays at 7:45 a.m., 8:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., AKT. Archived episodes are available here.
