Jennifer Pemberton serves as the research and policy outreach coordinator for ACEP’s Energy Policy and Innovation Center, managing a contract with the Alaska Legislature’s Office of Budget and Audit to help lawmakers evaluate critical policy decisions with the help of in-state subject matter experts. She also produces audio stories, collaborating with Gwen Holdmann on the award-winning energy podcast “Closing the Gap” and developing additional outreach and instructional projects.
Pemberton joined ACEP in September 2025 after working for nearly a decade in Alaska as a journalist and then for a shorter time at the Alaska Legislature’s nonpartisan research office.
