BIO
Audrey Welsh is the Climate Innovation fellow at ACEP. Her main project is coordinating the early-stage research and development of a soil amendment made of kelp and glacial rock flour that can both sequester carbon and improve soil health.
Welsh holds a B.A. in environmental studies and chemistry from Middlebury ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in Vermont.
Welsh is originally from Maine, where she grew up hiking, playing in tide pools and skiing. She studied ballet intensely through high school but returned to Nordic racing while in college and is very excited about the long ski season in Fairbanks.
